Steamforged Games Appoint e3creative (now part of Dept)

Trailblazing games creator, manufacturer and retailer Steamforged Games prepares to enter the next phase of their business, following early success, through incorporating digital technology to increase operational efficiencies and engage new international markets. Steamforged Games held an extensive and highly competitive tendering process in order to secure the best partner for the undertaking and ultimately appointed Manchester digital agency, e3creative (Part of Dept).

The digital transformation project involves e3creative (Part of Dept) utilising the latest advances in technology to integrate with internal systems and merge all entities of Steamforged Games. Business operations, logistics, stock control and product distribution will be managed through an intuitive piece of software, which responds to their ever-growing customer demand and sets the foundation for continued growth. A new e-commerce storefront will also be designed and developed, providing an immersive platform to engage with consumers, launch interactive retail campaigns and trade globally.

The strategic teams at e3creative (Part of Dept) will be redefining the Steamforged Games brand positioning, as they’re taking on a larger market share in both the wholesale and retail spaces. This involves activating the Steamforged Games international marketing strategy and engaging with new audiences and demographics.

Manchester’s Steamforged Games was founded in 2014 and has a growing collection of tabletop and miniature games based on both original concepts and renowned video games titles, including Resident Evil 2, Horizon: Zero Dawn and Dark Souls™ - Devil May Cry: The Bloody Palace

In April 2019 Steamforged Games announced that it has received a £5m investment from Foresight Group to support new product development, improvement of retail channels and help accelerate international growth for the company. As part of their plans, eight additional games will be in production over the next 24 months.
